Sidney United Fund Reaches 9332 With Educators Drive

The Sidney Educators Association and individual teachers boosted the fund at drive headquarters. Their total contribution neared 500, bringing the campaign total to 9332, about 62 percent of the 1975 goal of 15000.

Five Sidney city employees earned the Scott Wilber Award for mechanical plants with two to five employees at the Nebraska Water Pollution Control Association conference. Sidney tied Beatrice for first place, receiving a plaque and trophy for outstanding service to water pollution control through operation, public image, records, treatment, and certification.
