The Cheyenne County Journal outfit including subscription list and goodwill is sold to Cary and Lyon of Sidney. They will consolidate both papers, discontinue the Journal, and publish under the new title to carry on newspaper business in Sidney with expectations of success. Subscribers will have prepaid amounts credited to the new paper. Voting results and political commentary follow in a later general note with local figures and public sentiment.
