Pair Fined on Assault Count
A partially disabled Potter war veteran and his wife were assaulted in a Potter restaurant last Friday night by two workers on an REA construction project nearby. Ed Pintar and Joe Dettmore paid fines of 57.60 each in county court. Deputy Braasch reported the pair entered through a side door, demanded service, and a scuffle ensued injuring Mrs. Herboldsheimer. The couple were charged with intoxication and using profane language in a public restaurant.

Dix Couple Honored On 50th Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Nels Gunderson celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in Dix with a reception at the I. O. O. F. hall attended by over a hundred friends. He immigrated from Norway in 1874, arriving in Blair before moving to Kimball county in 1888. she came from Kearney in 1893. Married in 1896 at the Kimball county courthouse, they have eight children, seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren, with Norma deceased in 1920.
