Combined Rites Set For Thursday For Kraus Family
Funeral services for David D. Kraus 47 his wife Mary 47 and their son James Alexander Kraus 16 will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the English Lutheran Church. Graveside rites follow at 2 p.m. in Bayard Cemetery. Allen Mortuary handles arrangements. The family died Monday of accidental carbon monoxide poisoning at a farmhouse five miles east of Kimball. Survivors include a son Robert and two daughters Marilyn Inman and Violet Wendt and seven grandchildren.

Employment Stays Up In Four Nebraska Counties
The Sidney employment office reports October placements of 209 workers in Banner Deuel Kimball and Cheyenne counties, with 41 women and 67 veterans. Crash Injuries Fatal To Morrill Woman 70
A 70-year-old Morrill woman, Mrs Eva May Travis, died in Scotts Bluff hospital from injuries after a two car crash at Morrill west edge. The Sunday collision at Highway 26 and Spur 226 involved her husband E Travis driving north and Elvin E Sullivan of Newcastle Wyoming. Funeral arrangements are pending at Fisher Mortuary of Mitchell.
