Dear Folks musings mix politics and small town life
Frances Craig writes of election chatter in North Ward, noting Morrison signs, PTA events, a Jaycee Halloween party, and Governor Morrison’s family visiting Ogallala. She recalls the North Ward PTA supper, a showing of Music Man, Lady and The Tramp, and the Vienna Boys Choir, plus humorous party outfits and local chatter about voters turnout. The piece closes with reflections on democracy and a caution to drive carefully.
