Young Draper Bound Over in Beatrice Case
Oscar Draper, 19, charged with stealing sixteen cases of eggs from Swift and Co's plant in Beatrice Nebraska, bound over to district court. In default of 1000 dollar bond he was remanded to county jail. Draper recently inherited 8000 dollars through a relative's death at Wichita, with a 30 dollar monthly allowance.

Accidental Rifle Fire Injures Nebraska City Boy
In Nebraska City on May 18 two sons of farmer John Roll were handling a rifle alone at home while their parents were away. The weapon discharged and the bullet struck the younger son, a twelve year old, in the back of the head. Doctors report there is no hope for recovery.
