St Pauls Wins Cheyenne Grade School Meet for Second Year
St Pauls Lutheran school won the Cheyenne county grade school track meet for the second straight year with 52 points, narrowly ahead of Lorenzo with 50. District 36 was third with 14, Salem fourth with 13, and District 77 last at 6. New meet records included BR Meinecke 15 ft 1 3/4 in broad jump and Langley 7 ft 10 1/4 in standing broad jump.

The Panhandle reports forged checks across Kansas, Missouri and Illinois drawn on a Chappell bank. Signed by Alma Ffiesterer R. N. and sometimes Dr. Harris, the orders targeted supermarkets and other stores. Post and express items have arrived, but no suspects have been traced yet. Police warn bankers associations while extending alert across states.
