Wheat Is Excellent In Region
Farm observers report winter wheat in excellent condition across the Nebraska Panhandle. If the crop maintains this health, the region could see a substantial economic boost, with heavy growth, a strong root system, and six crucial weeks ahead toward full maturity. Frost and dry soils temper outlook, with corn and sorghum planting advancing and hay crops behind normal growth due to cool weather.
