The Cheyenne County Board of Commissioners met with all members present. They approved petitions to create Huntsman precinct with a polling place in Huntsman Nebr and to establish a public road along sections in Township 13 14 and 15 in Range 52. They ordered acreage corrections for Lewis Olson and appointed Oscar Miller as road overseer. A long list of audited claims and salaries was approved for the General Fund and Court House operations.
Advertisements from the Sidney Telegraph 1914 praise Cheyenne County and Sidney real estate. They promote farm land, town lots in Callahan Addition priced 800 to 1100, forecast population gains, industrial prospects, and a June 1 price reduction offer to home builders. It cites rising land values and demand for 1000 new homes in five years.
