Republican County Convention Delegates Named for Cheyenne County
The Republican electors of Cheyenne County are called to a county convention in Sidney on Tuesday May 5th 1888 at 2 p.m. to elect eleven delegates to the state convention in Omaha May 15th and eleven delegates to the congressional convention in Norfolk May 26th. Representation per precinct is based on the 1887 vote for Judge Maxwell, totaling 73 delegates with one for every twenty votes or major fraction thereof. Proxies are restricted to precinct residents. The meeting is chaired by A Hivyxxi, Chm Rep Co Central Committee.
