Torah Unearthed In Memphis Hidden Torah Presented
A 50 year old Torah hidden for decades was given to Beth Sholom Synagogue in Memphis. It was buried outside Breslau Germany in 1939 to avoid Nazis and recovered after World War I, later hidden under communist rule before being smuggled to the West. Dr Justin Adler of Memphis, who escaped Europe, presented it to mark the congregation's coming of age. Ellinwood Post Office Safe Crackers Drill Open Safe During Daylight Heist.
