Leonard Leeling cites hay storage estimates of up to 100 tons loose and 200 tons baled. The lumber largely came from Indian Creek nearby. The Inter-American Geodetic Survey, a joint effort of 17 Latin American nations and the United States, formed in 1946 to address postwar map accuracy.
