Albert Leroy Owen and Nellie Minich, both of Fort Collins Colorado, were married in Sidney on Tuesday March 28 by County Judge Chambers in his office.
Cleland H. Young and Emma C Wolmes were united in marriage March 29th by the county judge in a civil ceremony.
Edward Soffelt and Ella Richardson were united in marriage in Lafayette Colorado on Tuesday March 28 by County Judge Chambers.
In Washington D.C. the Federal Government versus Nebraska case on water rights and river site control will be heard on April 3. Utah initiated the suit with Nebraska intervening, Nebraska contends state control of river water powers while the federal government seeks authority to regulate and lease sites. Attorneys Reed, W. W. Hoagland, and J. J. Halligan travel from North Platte to present Nebraska’s position, an honor for Western Nebraska.
