Cheyenne County Board Adjourns to Guard Jail. Several Liquor Petitions
Cheyenne County Nebraska minutes from March 1877 show the board ordering night guards for the insecure jail, disallowing one bill to Alfred Baldry, and receiving liquor license petitions for Kennard & Simpson LC Board and others with bonds approved and laid over per law. A $200 reward is offered for the arrest of Gus Corman for murder near the North Platte Bridge. A list of grand jurors for the April term 1877 is read, including J T Walker and H W Gary among others.
