Medical Expense Deductions Same For Over 65 Age
Omaha report notes 65 plus taxpayers follow same rules as younger filers for medical expenses. 3 percent of adjusted gross income applies to total medical deductions. 1 percent medicine costs go to other medical expenses. Half the cost of medical insurance premiums up to 150 dollars may be deducted by itemizers. For those 65 and older, half the cost of supplementary Medicare insurance may be deducted similarly. Remaining premium costs add to other medical expenses and are reduced by 3 percent of AGI.

Soils in orchards retain more residue than crops, mainly the persistent chlorinated hydrocarbons. An expanded soil monitoring program began in the United States in 1968.
