North Platte residents will hear a panel of ranchers and feeders discuss grass in cattle operations during the 31st Spring Feeders Day at the North Platte Experiment Station on April 6. Speakers include Dr. Robert M. Koch and A V Nordquist, with hands on tours of 350 head of steers and several feeding trials. Lunch follows at noon.
The University of Nebraska announces the 1961 ewe distribution program to supply 100 quality yearling ewes for selected producers.
