Tragic fatal crash claims 11 year old Cheryl Meier near Lorenzo
Cheryl Kay Meier 11 of rural Sidney died Friday night when a pickup went off a county road near Lorenzo. Her brother Virgil 15 drove the northbound vehicle, escaped with minor injuries. Gust of wind allegedly forced the vehicle into a ditch and it flipped onto its top. Services were held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Sidney with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
