Counties Withdraw From Vo Tech Area Board Faces Withdrawal Vote
The Nebraska Supreme Court cleared the way for nine counties to possibly withdraw from the Mid Plains Area Vocational Technical school in North Platte. The 1967 law allows area removal by a region wide vote. the court will determine the November 8 election results while cases in Custer and Lincoln Counties are resolved.

Representative sales include 15 black steers 563 pounds at 29.20, 10 black heifers 275 pounds at 30.90, 12 white face heifers 395 pounds at 28.10, 7 black cows and calves at 210 per head, 14 bred whiteface heifers at 167 per head, 13 black steers 210 pounds at 34.25, 11 black steers 370 pounds at 34.40, 10 black heifers 325 pounds at 29.75, 12 whiteface steers 800 pounds at 29, 7 black steers 805 pounds at 29, 10 whiteface cows at 188 per head, 4 whiteface steers 575 pounds at 30, 17 white face steers 765 pounds at 35.70, weigh-up cows from 15.50 to 19.
