A spring storm dumped nine inches of snow on Sidney and Scottsbluff while others in the Panhandle recorded several inches. Roads were slick, schools in Scottsbluff, Gering, and county districts closed, and travel was discouraged in Kimball Banner counties as ranchers reported 18 to 21 inches of blowing snow.
