County Commissioners Proceedings March 5 1929 Sidney Neb

The Cheyenne County Commissioners met in regular session March 5 1929 with Chairman Joseph Nelson presiding. Attending were P C Collart Bert Allington J W Billeter Henry Pavlat county clerk and county attorney W K Hodgkin. Claims were audited and ordered paid including wages, supplies, mothers pensions and court house painting. Road petitions and open road actions were approved with surveying and maintenance duties assigned. Meeting adjourned to March 19 or special call.

Brownson Mr and Mrs L Williams of Peetz are guests at the Gilbert Gossin home Williams is Gossin’s sister. Mr and Mrs Nels Thurston visited their daughter and family Sunday. The community sale last Thursday was largely attended. Mr and Mrs Shinkle moved to Bronson Monday. Mr and Mrs William Bundy treated the school to ice cream and cake for Pearl’s 11th birthday. Johnnie Connelly celebrated his 10th birthday that day. Art and Joe McMillan motored to Potter Friday. Karl Tolle and family were Sunday.
