Public Board Creates Special County Fund in 1892

The Cheyenne county commissioners meet to establish a special fund to cover emergencies. Transfers of $200 from both the bridge and road funds are authorized to the new account. The meeting notes a settlement with Kimball County over a disputed debt totaling 3006 dollars, and authorizes further warrants and distributions related to county expenses and school district reimbursements.

Our Regiment a Superior Amateur Comedy at the Post

An enthusiastic audience praised the three act comedy Our Regiment for fine acting and staging. Capt Ebstein and Lt Van Deman led strong performances with Mrs Jocelyn and Miss Blanchard drawing warm applause. Costumes and officer uniforms enhanced scenes including the passing regiment and garden party. The Episcopal church benefit was a success and the community longs for more such productions by these capable performers.
