Sidney Raiders Fail to Place at Kearney Indoor Meet
KEARNEY The Sidney High Red Raiders did not place in any event at the Kearney Indoor track and field meet. SHS coach Dick Osterday noted 39 schools competed in one group with team scoring by top six finishes. Greg Ellison jumped 19-2 while Rod Rezac cleared 5-8 in high jump. Tim O’Halloran ran 8.2 seconds in the 75-yard dash. Freshmen Randy Lubash and Pat Hossle posted 57.0 and 5:28 respectively in relay and mile efforts. Break in activity follows basketball season with focus turning to outdoors.
