Lodgepole Center Shaped By Mrs Wickard's Gift
Lodgepole residents praise the community center donated by Mrs Gertrude Wickard as a busy hub for youths and adults. Opened Dec 27 and active every evening, it hosts Scouts, church groups, and local volunteers who furnished and renovated the former Plumbing and Heating building. The center seeks pool table gear and a 45 rpm record player, with 65 green stamp books to fund a table, while an 13–20 youth group forms soon.
