Civil Engineer Robbed After Accepting Ride East
Conroy F. Frans a 40 year old civil engineer from Scottsbluff was found battered by Highway 30 near Sidney after accepting a ride from two strangers. He was robbed of a $95 watch a suitcase of clothes $10 in cash and his unused bus ticket. Frans recalls little after drinking peach brandy during the ride.

Youths Get Jail For Hub Cap Theft in Cheyenne
Two 18 year old youths, Herman Perry of Brush and Dale Bivens of Sidney, pleaded guilty to petit larceny in Cheyenne County. Each received ten days in jail plus double restitution for hub caps stolen, Perry $66 and Bivens $44, with court costs. Police recovered caps from a suspicious car and a second vehicle. owners were located for seven caps.

Mrs. Charlotte Keller 70 mother of Mrs. C B Dorwart died last evening in a Cheyenne hospital after ten days illness. Funeral at St Patrick's Church Monday at 9 am with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Rosary Sunday at 7 30 pm at Gehrig and Son. Memorials suggested to Cheyenne County Memorial Hospital. She was born July 26 1887 in Cleveland Ohio and married William F Keller in 1912. Survivors include daughter Dorwart son Raymond Keller 12 grandchildren sister and three brothers.

Truck Brakes Fail Lead to Rear-End Collision in Potter
