Sixteen year old Norman Folkerts son of Mr and Mrs John Folkerts farmers north of Lodge Pole drowned in an artificial dam on the Fred Bauer farm north of Lodge Pole Monday afternoon He was swimming with the Bauer boy and the Rev A C Huths son from Weyerts Lutheran church They said he could not swim and went into water over his head Body recovered about an hour later volunteers from Lodge Pole and neighbors aided by Dr R L Hook attempted resuscitation but he was dead Police and rescue workers reported the dam an FERA built structure storing drains Continued on Page 6, Column 2
