Tragic kerosene blast kills Big Springs mother and child
Sunday noon disaster at Big Springs claims Mrs Warren Beach and her two year old son. A gallon kerosene can exploded while pouring oil onto coal embers, flames engulfed the kitchen, the mother died about 1 am Monday, the child died early Tuesday. Warren Beach is assistant postmaster, son of pioneer R V Beach, and a five year old daughter survives.

The baby daughter and only child of Attorney R W Devoe and his wife died after a short illness. They were visiting Wilsonville with Mrs Devoe's parents when the burial occurred. Sheriff and deputy track paternity suspect to Montana
