Festivities at John Adams Ranch Draw a Big Sidney Crowd
Last Wednesday at John Adams Ranch near Sidney a large group gathered for a barbecue despite two days of heavy rain. A special two-car train carried about forty excursionists to the ranch and later carriages ferried guests between Sidney and Point of Rocks. The day featured a roast meat pit, games, a baseball match won by Lehmann, and a lengthy dinner followed by music and performances from local talent. A parade of events included riding exhibitions and a broncho act, with rain approaching as guests returned home.
