He was visiting sisters in California while staying with his daughter in North Platte. Funeral Thursday at Gehrig Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Parks officiating. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. He was born March 1 1871 at Keithsburg Illinois married Elza Emily Standing November 15 1893. Survived by daughter Alpha N Grigsby North Platte four sisters Eva Goin Minnie Gallett Alice Fisher and Pearl Kerpthorn. He worked at Greenlee's for 18 years and was a member of Methodist church and IOOF Lodge No 1 Cheyenne.
