Messiah Lutheran Rites Join Miss Parker and Holt
Messiah Lutheran Church at Broadwater witnessed the afternoon ceremony uniting Marvan Parker daughter of Clyde Parker Lisco and Darrell Holt son of Dallas Holt Dalton in a double ring service. The Rev Claude Vander Steep officiated as flowers of blue and yellow iris graced the altar. Becky Sears organ played while Rita Boman sang The Wedding Song and The Lords Prayer. The bride wore an organza and taffeta gown with Venise lace high collar long sleeves empire waist and A line chapel train. Her tiered illusion veil and lace petals completed the bridal ensemble.

Nebraska Eagles Convention Reports State Leads In Members And Donations
At the Nebraska State Eagles gathering in Omaha officials praised Nebraska for leading the nation in new members with 5123 and donations topping 31209, with honors planned at the National Convention in Dallas. A grant of 11000 was given to the University of Nebraska for heart research by the Grand Aerie. In Sidney, the new state president will greet members at 800 pm during the Legion hall meeting.

March of Dimes Campaign Totals in Cheyenne County
The Cheyenne County March of Dimes raised 2941 this year, about 250 more than last year. Judy Bayne said the Mothers’ March and business and school results contributed 1735, with other gifts including Lorenzo 325, Sunol District 12-C 273, Potter 263, Dalton 193, Lodgepole and Sunol 117, and memorials 32. About half stays in county, and roughly 500 is sent to the state organization for genetic counseling.
