Two Interchange Plan For Sidney's 1 80 Is Still Likely
Sidney remains in the running for two I-80 interchanges with plans debated by state federal and county officials. City Manager George Felsch said agreement exists on twin interchanges southeast and southwest of town while the key question is the parallel access road from State 19 east to the relocated No. 19 route. The final decision hinges on approvals from the Nebraska Highway Commission the Bureau of Public Roads and possibly county commissioners. Felsch emphasized Sidney must press Washington for action on airport improvements as other projects advance.
