Cheyenne County to Revival Herd Law In Special Election
The Cheyenne County Board of Commissioners orders a special election for July 26 1887 to decide revival of the herd law. Polls open 8am to 6pm at precincts including Big Springs Blue Creek Chappell Bushrock Lodge Pole Colton Sidney Potter Court House Rock Antelopeville Wrights Tabor Bushnell Kiowa Long Springs Dix. Provisions outline ballot wording For revival of Herd Law or Against revival of Herd Law. If majority favor, law revived. otherwise it is lost. Proceedings include appointees and clerks listed.
