Double Nine To Be In Big Tournament
The double nine teams from the American Legion Gibson Ford Juniors and Kiwanis Midgets will take part in the Alliance tournament on July 3 and 4 with Sydney Alliance Chadron Scottsbluff and Kearney represented. Midget games are seven innings and junior nine. Finals set for July 4.

Public Open House At Centennial Track Set For June 26
Centennial Race Track in Littleton announces a free public open house at 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 26 under general manager Ivan Thomas. The event previews the 64 day Centennial racing season starting July 1, with 7 a.m. gates opening for the stable area visit and an afternoon program featuring a Marine color guard flag raising. Three racing films will be shown in two grandstand locations, including Horsetalk and There They Go along with Parade of Champions from the Thoroughbred Racing Assn.
