The Sidney Gun Club installed a new automatic trap at the shooting grounds north of town. Owing to delays in preparing the grounds, the club failed to qualify this season in the district contest for the silver cup.
Mr and Mrs A Nelson of Potter travel through Sidney on No 18 on Thursday en route to Omaha where Mr Nelson will undergo an operation. He is a well known and respected citizen of the county and it is hoped he finds relief for his physical condition.
