An Interesting Letter From California
A California diary from Feb 27 1920 describes Lemon Grove visits, Mission Cliff garden, North Island naval flights, and a move to East San Diego. It covers Balboa Park, the S 10 and A RR completion celebration, Imperial Valley trips to El Cajon valley, Grossmont Mt Helix, and a day on the ocean to Coronado Islands. The writer notes travel by auto and trolley, passports amid Prohibition, and a tour of shipyards and battleships, ending with trips to Los Angeles and Pasadena.
