In North Platte Monday night the Sidney town squad was shut out 8-0 by Lexington in the Semi-Professional Baseball Tournament second round. Don Tedesco collected two key hits for Sidney while Ken Ottoson struggled on the mound, yielding eight hits and a homer. Lexington ace Don Meyer fanned nine while allowing one hit, and Jerry Luckert belted a decisive homer aiding Lexington’s rout.
