Predictions of a July 20 harvest start proved accurate with 60 000 bushels of new wheat received at the Kimball Co op Elevator on Tuesday. Quality looks good though early wheat shows shriveling and low protein. Transport strikes hinder movement, limited trucking used, with elevators likely able to take wheat Thursday. Harvest progress: Dix area about 50 percent complete, Kimball 25 percent, Bushnell not yet started. Prices stay at 1 12 dollars per bushel.
