At a Dalton Mintken Davison Post meeting on Tuesday evening the officers were elected: Bob Grothe Commander Alex Flohr vice commander Rodney McConnell Adjutant Ray Ernest Sergeant at Arms Lyle Rabe finance and Ray Henke Jerry Kailhoff on the Executive Committee. A lunch followed and the next meeting is Sept 12 with no August session.

Jimmy Stewart Injured While Filming Lindy Scene
Actor James Stewart sustained serious back injuries during location filming of The Spirit of St Louis at Platte Ranch Canoga Park. He played Lindbergh and parachuted from a World War I De Havilland in a snow storm. The parachute dragged him 50 yards over rugged ground before collapsing.
