Harvey Miles of Sidney and Sylvester Uphoff of Sterling were in a Huntsman area crash. Miles’ car damaged heavily while Uphoff drove a truck.

Ogallala Seeks Purchase of Its Electric System

Sidney Wins Two Baseball Games in Weekend Action
Sidney won two games last week defeating Cheyenne 14 to 0 in a Friday night game and beating Torrington 5 to 4 in a Western Nebraska League encounter. Al Lawson pitched a three hit game against Torrington to extend Sidney's winning streak to two in the second half of league play. Sidney meets Bridgeport at the local park next Sunday at 2 30.
