Spring Canyon Harvest Brightens Rural Nebraska Scene
Harvest begins in Spring Canyon as corn is plowed for the third time and a busy season unfolds. A July 4 celebration in Sidney drew a large crowd while locals report gatherings, travel plans, and family movements including Alfred Sutter and son Willard and Mrs. Laharty. News covers harvest efforts, visits, a Crook community scene with Dan Beebe heading rye, dress-form making workshop, a Yellowstone Park trip, a barn dance, births, and local hunts for nuisance coyotes and wolves.
