New Books Added For Sickroom Use
Eight new books have been added to the microfilm library for use with the ceiling projector purchased last winter by the Lions Club. Three titles were donated by the Evangelical United Brethren Sunday School at Peetz and five by the Sidney Business and Professional Women's Club. The library and projector are in the Sidney public library and may be checked out for patients with doctor authorization. Lions Club members will assist with transport and instruction in use.

Petersen Rites Set For Friday
Mrs. Jennie Petersen age 62 died suddenly this Tuesday morning at a local hospital after a brief illness. Funeral services are set for Friday at 2 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Henry Monnich officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the Craig Mortuary direction. The Petersens moved to 1845 Osage Street in spring 1947 from the Dalton community where they had farmed. A fuller obituary will appear in Friday's Telegraph.

Morris Goman Hurt In Truck Accident
Morris W. Goman, 47, Wheatland Wyoming, is hospitalized at Bridgeport with back injuries from a traffic accident. A Safety Patrolman reported the pickup left Highway 86 three miles west of Bridgeport and overturned twice in a 15 foot ditch. Goman was pinned in the cab for 15 minutes before being freed.
