Catholic Church’s New Organ Ready for Use
W LeRoy Tarson handed the new three thousand five hundred dollar pipe organ to the Catholic church last week. James Day from Reuters and Schwartz Co. of Trenton Illinois installed and tuned it. It will be used for the first time at Sunday mass July 6 at nine. The organ, placed in the balcony, will enhance services and serve a larger future building. An upcoming sacred concert will showcase its musical qualities for Sidney residents. Electrical wiring was by the Parks brothers and air conduits by A Treador Patronize OSBORN BATTERY STATION.

Lieut TD Audrius led demonstrations with a lineup of tanks, tractors, and field guns to showcase self propelled vehicles and wartime power. The display, organized by C. C. Williams of Rock Island Arsenal, traveled from Rock Island Illinois to Greenley Colorado then onward to return to the arsenal.

NG Brewer, proprietor of the U S A theatre, has purchased about a thousand dollars worth of new scenery to enhance Sidney theatregoers’ vantage. Six distinct settings will be used for pictures and road and home talent plays, boosting the theatre’s appeal and utility for players. A white tile floor will also be laid in the lobby this month.
