Prairie Schooners Square Dance Club attended a Sunday benefit for retarded children at Fort Lupton Colorado held at Elmo Wolfe ranch. A pot luck dinner and square dancing followed by skits and prize drawings. Several locals won prizes while many members traveled for visits and family gatherings in the region.

Bride, a Lodgepole High School graduate and bank employee, and groom, Crook High School graduate with Empire Drilling, celebrate with a reception and pre nuptial dinner for 35 guests. Out of town relatives from Omaha Denver Crook and Dighton joined the celebration.

80th Birthday To Be Celebrated Anniversary
Friends and relatives are invited to Light Memorial Presbyterian Church from 2 until 4 on Sunday to help Mrs. McCollum celebrate her 80th birthday. She came to Cheyenne County in 1914, lived in Sidney, then Gurley, Potter, and finally Sidney again from 1950. Married three times, she resides with her current husband McCollum at 1132 Rose Street. Her two children Dr J W Taylor of Oxford Ohio and Mrs Inez McDonald of Riverton Wyoming cannot attend. son Ernest Taylor died in 1962.
