Sidney Celebrates July Fourth With Parades and Races
The Sidney celebration begins Monday at 11 a m with a Calithumpian parade by SCO Club and 21st Infantry band, an address by J J McIntosh, songs by the Glee Club, and an oration by Gesege Wo Ueist. After 1:30 p m a five inning baseball game, wheelbarrow and foot races, greased pig, three legged, bicycle and sack races conclude with a fireworks display to follow at dark.
