Senior Citizens Center to Open in Sidney July 25
Funds exceeding 14000 were made available for the first Senior Citizens Center in Sidney serving the area. The federal share is 75 percent with the city funding the rest. Center director Glenn Weller oversees remodeling of the former gas building on 10th and King, with a grand opening planned in late July or early August.

CSC Registration Begins Monday
CSC registration for Chadron State College summer sessions opens Monday in the Campus Center Ballroom. Last names Q through Z register 8–10 am, A through K 10 am–noon, and I through P 1–4 pm, with nine workshops for the two and a half week period starting July 7. The Japan Study Tour will be on campus the week of July 7 before its five week Study Adventure. A concessionaire is sought for marina and ball vending at Merritt Reservoir near Valentine. Legal notices to be published by the Game Commission will specify requirements.

Lenzen Brothers Take Up University Roles At Nebraska
Mr and Mrs Jerome Lenzen and Steve attended orientation at the University of Nebraska Lincoln on June 23 and 24. Steve becomes a freshman this fall joining Nick and Bob in the College of Business Administration. Nick, a senior, and Bob, a sophomore, spend summer at home with Bob working at Town and Country Market. Nick was elected chairman of the Business Administration Advisory Board for 69 70 with a 2 5 average as a student representative. Bob joined the Student Advisory Board as one of two sophomores. Also noted, the Apollo program computer complex handles 80 billion calculations daily.
