Sidney's wrestling team split two duals over the weekend. Alliance swept the last three weights to beat Sidney 36-15, then Sidney defeated Ogallala 33-18. Dennis Girard moved from 126 to 119 and defeated Kyle Abrams, who was state ranked and undefeated. Abrams, Hazlitt, Childers, and Corell earned pins in the Ogallala win while Corell posted his first season pin. Sidney hosts Gering in the final dual of the season Friday.
