Bushnell Man Elected ESU 14 President in Reorg Meeting
Ellis Hickman of Bushnell was elected president of ESU 14 at a Monday reorganizational meeting in the Unit office. Duane Kahl and Dr HCQ Nelson were named vice president and secretary, with Dale Flora and Hickman completing terms. Also elected were Gordon French to fill a Dix vacancy, Don Haldeen, Mervin Jensen, and others. Milton Nissen was re elected treasurer and Sidney National Bank named as depository with The Sidney Telegraph as official newspaper. A Feb 8 meeting for all three county boards Cheyenne Deuel Kimball was approved at Fort Sidney Motor Hotel. One Theft and Two Auto Accidents Reported
The Sidney Police logged one theft and two accidents over the past two days. A 23 band radio was stolen from a Dodge station wagon owned by Howard Kurz parked at 1624 Linden, causing minor damage. A 1970 El Camino driven by Victor Rapp hit a 1964 Buick driven by Samuel Bucher, totaling 15 and 50 dollars in damage respectively. A 1962 Chevy driven by Jasper Bowman backed into a 1965 Rambler driven by Patrick Seidel, with 85 dollars of damage. Seidel’s car had no stated damage.
