Cheyenne County Officials Set 1966 Appointments
Cheyenne County Nebraska held its first 1966 meeting at the Courthouse with A A Fenske Carl Olson and Wm G Smith. They reorganized the county board appointing Carl Olson as chairman and naming county physician custodian of the building county assistance committee courthouse caretakers official newspaper county surveyor and several bank depositories. A resolution filled the unexpired term of county assessor selecting George E Swanson. A January 18 session audited claims totaling 23194 70 with detailed lists for general road bridge and other funds and issued notices of final reports and probate matters for Estate 3223 August E Jurgens and estates of George Gipfert Clifton J Berry.
