Suit filed in Omaha over Sidney truck crash death

Lincoln Resident Dies Here Body Shipped
Mrs. Kittie H. Mays aged 69 died at her daughter's home in Lincoln after a short illness while visiting for a month. Born in Illinois in 1866 she married in Saunders county in 1886 and lived in Nebraska since then. Survived by one child three grandchildren a brother and a sister. Funeral services were held at Rice funeral home with Rev. J. J. Sheaff officiating. The body was shipped to Ashland for burial accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Lipke.

NYA Project Planned Here With Local Clubs and Schools
Nell M. Bloodgood assistant in charge of vocational guidance for the NYA visited Sidney to arrange a county NYA project. She met with service clubs and school officials and the county agent to gauge interest among 16 to 25 year olds for courses. She plans to return in February to formalize the project and expects a large class with help from high schools and colleges.
