Dalton hosts the District 4 American Legion Oratorical Contest at the Dalton Legion Hall on Sunday Jan 28 at 2 p.m. The Gurley and Dalton volunteer fire departments begin a 13 lesson first aid course with weekly sessions alternating between towns and potential instructor certification.
