Britain to pay full debt to United States under new terms
Tuesday Baldwin and Montagu Co. Norman told American commissioners Britain intends to pay every penny of its debt. They presented facts for more liberal terms than Congress fixed, full payment in 25 years or not less than 444 percent interest. An approval is likely. The American commission will soon advise the President for Congress action. Harding says funding requires law changes to debt fundings commission. Such changes would ease terms.
